OTL Media Publisher – Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 September 2026.
Purpose of this tool
OTL Media Publisher is an internal social-media publishing tool used by Oradea Transport Local (OTL) to publish official OTL content to social-media accounts that have been explicitly authorized for this purpose. This Privacy Policy explains how OTL Media Publisher handles data in connection with its TikTok integration.
TikTok authentication and API use
OTL Media Publisher connects to TikTok exclusively through TikTok’s official Login Kit (authentication) and Content Posting API. These integrations are used only to authenticate an authorized TikTok account and to publish content to that account on its owner’s behalf.
Data we process
OTL Media Publisher processes only the data necessary to:
- authenticate the connection to an authorized TikTok account;
- identify which authorized account a piece of content is being published to;
- publish content to that account and confirm the publishing result.
No data beyond what is required for these purposes is collected or processed.
Access tokens and credentials
Access tokens and other credentials issued by TikTok are treated as sensitive information. They are stored securely, used only to authenticate requests to TikTok’s API on behalf of the authorized account, and are not shared with any third party.
No sale of data
Data processed by OTL Media Publisher is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for advertising, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to operating this integration.
Scope and limitations
OTL Media Publisher does not collect data from TikTok users who view or interact with published content, and does not use TikTok data for any purpose other than operating the authorized publishing connection described above.
Data retention and revocation
Access tokens and related credentials are retained only for as long as needed to operate the authorized connection. Authorization can be revoked at any time by the account owner through TikTok’s own account settings, at which point OTL Media Publisher no longer has access to that account.
